Powerboat racing team VOOMVOOM was able to last the distance in a recent record-breaking event with help from Robert Horne Group and Viscount Signs.

The team has to replace the boat’s vinyl lettering and graphics after every high speed race, and approached Viscount Signs for a longer lasting solution. After consultation with Robert Horne, they recommended Avery HP 700—a premium quality, opaque solid colour medium gloss vinyl.

At the Annual Coniston Records Week, where UK racers come together to set new national and world speed records, VOOMVOOM was able to last the distance. Throttleman Gareth Williams set a new British record for Inboard Immersed Popeller Monohull at 107.94mpg, while driver Vee Ganjavian set a new national and World Class B Marathon Record with an average speed of 108.07mph.

“By using Avery 700 from Robert Horne the branding on the boat is now lasting the full race season, not just one race,” says Rob Shannon of Viscount Signs.
