In the UK market one of the latest purchases from the company was from Projects and Print of Kings Langley, which bought the UK’s very first Anapurna M2500i which carries a white ink function.
“We needed to increase the level of our UV direct to substrate output so we went to FESPA looking for a dual RTR and flatbed high quality printer,” managing director Richard Barrett explains.
The company also showcased this machines big brother at the recently concluded Sign and Digital UK show, the Anapurna M3200i RTR.
Set to go on show next at the ISA Expo stand #1350 carrying its white ink functionality, the UV printer reaches speeds of up to 123sq m/h, and carries a dual roll printing option.

In addition, a mesh option enables users to print on mesh without liner, due to a special gutter underneath the printing area that contains an ink-absorbing medium.
"White ink comes in extremely handy on coloured self-adhesive vinyl, PVC banners or backlit film," says Deborah Hutcheson, director of marketing, Agfa Graphics North America.
“It is also great for printing on decals as it makes the colours look brighter and more vibrant.”
