The Mimaki JV33-160 has ramped up production capacity for Caravelle Creative
The machine, purchased through Mimaki reseller i-Sub Digital, replaces an older JV33-160, with managing director Ian Daniels saying he's 'not sure how we survived' with the previous device.
He adds: “We didn't take on a lot of wide-format work before, but now with the new JV33-160 we have the confidence to take on new clients.”
The Kent-based firm offers services in the whole marketing spectrum, including web design, SEO, brochures, and branding – the device has allowed it to broaden that offering even further and the output has increased by 300 percent.
“We've produced a lot of exhibition graphics, especially for events at Olympia and Earls Court,” explains Daniels.
“For those jobs, people often ask for them to be done by the next day, and we can do that now. Before we had the new printer we were looking at two days; now we can offer a much quicker turnaround."
