Sawgrass used FESPA 2015 to launch a number of new products in Europe
The event, which took place in the German city of Cologne in May, played host to a host of companies from around the world—including Sheffield firm Sawgrass.
The company opted to use the event as a platform to launch its new Virtuoso HD Product Decorating System to the European market. Sawgrass says the system is the first of its kind to offer a fully integrated, high definition product decorating solution.
Featuring printers designed for sublimation production and Sawgrass’ newly formulated SubliJet-HD inks, the system is capable of producing output of up to 1200 x 1200 dpi.
Sawgrass, which operated under its new brand at the show following a recent rebrand, also used the event to launch CreativeStudio—an online design software and stock design library that is available exclusively with the new Virtuoso HD.
In addition, Sawgrass invited visitors to view a number of live demonstrations on its stand in Hall 7 of the show. Those in attendance saw how the Virtuoso system can help create a range of products such as custom gifts, decorated garments, promotional products and interior signage.
FESPA visitors also had the opportunity to see how the firm’s SubliJet-IQ Pro Photo Systems can enable printmakers to produce high-end photographic reproductions on a range of substrates, such as high definition ChromaLuxe metal panels, tile, canvas and glass.
