Nobel winning material hits display

A revolutionary new material technology, which won Andre Geim and Konstantin Novoselov the Nobel Prize for Physics in 2010, is on the verge of becoming a commercial success.

With potential applications in the rapidly expanding digital signage market, Graphene is transperent, flexible, conductive, stronger than diamond and  made from a sheet of carbon just one atom thick.

We are working on flexible, bendable and transparent displays and surfaces that could in future be part of flexible phones, tablets, TVs and solar cells

The technology is being developed by Finnish phonemaker Nokia, and could cause huge waves in the digitial display market.
