Mimaki claims the new ink can help create a range of applications such as Braille and textured finishes
The new LH-100 clear ink will compliment the existing LUS -150 and LH-100 LED UV curable ink sets.
Applications such as high-end point-of-sale labels, textured finishes and even Braille can now be produced using the new ink.
Stuart Cole, national sales manager of Hybrid Services, the exclusive UK and Ireland distributor for Mimaki, expects the ink to generate plenty of interest as many printers use quality finishes as a way of attracting customers.
“The new generation of flatbed LED UV printers are highly sophisticated and capable production machines that have been breaking new creative ground,” Cole said.
The addition of this clear ink to the portfolio really takes the artistic and creative possibilities of the JFX200 to new levels”

The UV ink can be retro fitted to existing JFX200 machines with only minor hardware upgrades required.
Users should ensure they have the latest Version 1.30 or later firmware and RasterLink 6 Version 2.10 or later of Mimaki’s RIP.
