DCS claims the Direct Jet 1024UVHS allows sign-makers to tackle a host of print personalisation jobs
The Direct Jet 1024UVHS with TEXTUR3D On Board has a printable area of 10 x 24" and can print onto substrates up to 6" thick. Paired with Color Byte RIP 9 software, the model claims to add a ‘new dimension’ to full-colour images by introducing a high-speed model that utilises inline printing and produces, ‘breakthrough 3D textured prints.
Digital output, combined with high quality graphics, good throughput
speeds, and durable images, offers a host of opportunities to the owner
of our of our Direct Jet UV printers”
DCS president, Blair Allen, told SignLink that devices such as this model can help sign-makers to expand their services: “They can now offer, off the same printer, a multitude of new products to sell to their existing customer base. These could be, but are not limited, to; name badges, plaques and awards, promotional or advertising speciality items, and many more.”
Boasting a long history in the sign and graphics market, Allen highlights print personalisation as a key sector and is confident the Direct Jet can support diversified companies.
“Since digital output is almost mandatory for print personalisation, the Direct Jet is perfectly positioned for this application,” says Allen, adding: “Digital output, combined with high quality graphics, good throughput speeds, and durable images, offers a host of opportunities to the owner of our of our Direct Jet UV printers.”
Allen also reveals that DCS is continuing to evolve its technology in order to support this exciting market moving forward.
