Mark Jarvis of WTiN and Tim Phillips of IMI Europe
World Textile Information Network (WTiN) and IMI Europe has signed up to co-operate on staging events about inkjet technology and the textile industry.
Under the deal, WTiN will convey its knowledge of the digital textile printing market to further strengthen the technical content of IMI Europe conferences and seminars.
In return, IMI Europe will supply intelligence for WTiN media and events into new developments in inkjet, giving the publisher greater insights into how this new market is moving on.
In a way both will be helping each other to analyse how inkjet is impacting the fabric and textile market, and by working together it also opens the way for joint activities in future.
These are two companies each with a strong reputation in its own industrial community”
WTiN publishes Digital Textile magazine and the unique WTiN Intelligence: Digital Textiles service; IMI Europe puts together technical events for the inkjet printing industry around the world.
WTiN’s Mark Jarvis says: “These are two companies each with a strong reputation in its own industrial community. For us, IMI Europe’s ability to place textile applications within the broader context of inkjet innovation, with a view to emerging opportunities, will be a valuable addition to our services.”
Tim Phillips of IMI Europe was equally pleased, saying the partnership was ‘an excellent opportunity’ as IMI has ‘a wealth of inkjet experience’. He continues: “I look forward to working with WTiN to advance the industry by promoting information exchange and collaboration between inkjet developers and users.”
