Textile boom builds momentum

Roland DG has increased its focus on the textile print market by investing a significant amount of marketing capital into the International Textile Machinery Exhibition 2015 (ITMA), urging its customers to ‘go digital’ with an array of wide-format print technologies on display.

Encarna Luque of Roland DG looks forward to welcoming visitors to ITMA to the Roland DG booth

The move comes off the back of a diversification into the sector with new dye-sublimation print technology that was launched earlier in 2015.

As a company with a heritage in the textile and garment sector, Roland DG is excited to be participating in ITMA, one of the leading global shows for the industry

“As a company with a heritage in the textile and garment sector, Roland DG is excited to be participating in ITMA, one of the leading global shows for the industry,” says Encarna Luque, business development director for Roland DG.

She continues: “We want to inspire and help visitors to understand how going digital with Roland’s sublimation and print and cut technologies can benefit their businesses; whether they are currently using analogue textile technologies and considering a move to digital, or are looking to add to their existing digital device portfolio.”

Roland DG also promises an ‘energetic and interactive’ booth displaying print and cut technologies with real-time workflows. The company will also showcase the Texart digital sublimation RT-640 printer and accompanying CS-64 calender unit.

Luque adds: “Customers will be particularly interested in the cost efficiencies and increased margins offered by our digital solutions and the versatility; in terms of outputs and the sheer range of applications.

“With a comprehensive range of technologies which offer significant profit-making potential, we very much look forward to welcoming customers at ITMA and exploring with them the ways in which Roland technology can help grow their businesses.”
