On show: the Agfa Graphics' Anapurna M3200i RTR
The wide-format machine is one of the first models in Agfa Graphics’ Anapurna i-series, offering high productivity and quality at a good price say the manfacturers.
Incorporating six-color high-resolution print heads, the 3.2m wide roll-to-roll UV-curable printer achieves up to 116 m² per hour according to the firm’s stats.
There will also be a mesh option making it possible to print on mesh without liner, thanks to a special gutter underneath the printing area containing an ink absorbing medium”
At FESPA it will be shown with a dual roll option that makes it possible to simultaneously print jobs on two rolls of the same media type, each up to maximum 60 inch wide. There will also be a mesh option making it possible to print on mesh without liner, thanks to a special gutter underneath the printing area containing an ink absorbing medium.
Thanks to the ‘thin ink layer technology’, Agfa Graphics’ gamut of UV-curable inks enable printing on a broad range of flexible materials, including banners, self-adhesive vinyls, and front- and back-lit graphics.
It is another interesting piece of kit on show at FESPA Digital 2014 in Munich.
