The annual Paws in the Park event, which is held in aid of the Worldwide Veterinary Service (WVS), took place this summer at St Giles Park in Shaftesbury, generating more than £3,000 for the charity.

The knitted polyester flags supplied by Hampshire Flag were manufactured on a DuPont Artistri 2020, and branded with WVS imagery.

James Tubb, marketing and communications officer at the WVS comments: “We are extremely grateful for Hampshire Flag’s support. The feather flags looked fantastic at our stand and really added a sense of occasion.”

Paws in the Park is an annual event, so the feather flags not only made an impact this year, but we’re delighted that they can be used time and time again in the future

He continues: “Paws in the Park is an annual event, so the feather flags not only made an impact this year, but we’re delighted that they can be used time and time again in the future.”

The WVS provides a sustainable veterinary resource to help animal organisations around the world. It supports over 500 charities in more than 100 countries, and has provided over £1m worth of veterinary aid in the past five years.

Managing director of Hampshire Flags, Graham Wilkinson, comments: “WVS does a fantastic job and is an important cause. We’re extremely pleased that Paws in the Park was a success and that our feather flags made an impact.”
