SDEA members are positive about the next twelve months
The Shop and Display Equipment Association has revealed that most of its members have seen sales rises in the six months to June 30th.
Despite the ongoing problems in the UK economy, a whopping sixty percent of its members have reported sale's growth by an average of thirteen percent, compared to the same period last year.
SDEA director, Lawrence Cutler says the survey, which also reported sales remaining steady for 20 percent of companies, 'indicates a renewed energy' within the market.
He adds: “It is a testimony to the tenacity of established retail display suppliers who have shown again and again that investment in retail interiors can bring an immediate payback.”
Respondents are also positive about the next six months, with 40 percent expecting the upward trend to continue, while 56 percent expect sales to remain at a similar level.
