This is the second US award the firm has won in recent months, having taken a Top Product Award for its Matrix OPP Laminating Systems six months ago.

The Easymount Air is cutting-edge in that it uses pneumatic air pressure to control the laminating rollers, allowing for exceptional precision and avoiding any damage to delicate substrates such as foam and fluted boards.

Vivid’s export manager Bruce Cozens comments: “We’re very proud to win a second award for our laminating systems in the U.S. We were presented Top Product for our Matrix OPP Laminating Systems.

“For the Easymount Air to now also be recognised as a Top Product is a great achievement. Two awards in just six months is incredible.”

Cozens continues: “We’ve smashed the competition because of the ground-breaking technology within the Easymount Air. The top roller 'floats' down, which means that foam and fluted boards aren’t crushed.

“When the rollers achieve the correct substrate thickness, they can be locked in place to keep the required gap, making board feeding faster and more accurate”.

The Easymount Air will be on display at Sign and Digital UK next week, as well as at Drupa in May and June.
