The Print Show 2015 attracted more than 5,300 visitors from across the print industry
The industry event, which took place for the first time from October 13th to 15th last year at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham, attracted over 5,300 visitors from the UK market and wider print industry.
With the show serving as a hub of information, some visitors opted to stay overnight and make a second visit to the event on the following day.
According to figures released by travel research company ST Global, this helped contribute to a record-high hotel occupancy rate of 81 percent for October. This result also represented an increase of two percent on the previous year.

Meet Birmingham cited The Print Show as one of the events that helped increase this rate. Other shows and events picked out include a series of three concerts from boyband One Direction at the Barclaycard Arena, as well as the Birmingham Comedy Festival, Fierce Festival, and Birmingham Literature Festival.
Chris Davies, event director for The Print Show, says: βTo be part of a record-breaking month in a city as big as Birmingham in just our first year is a real achievement.β
