Five booths travelled to 22 cities across Canada during the campaign
The Air Miles ‘Smile 4 Miles’ campaign invited the public to exchange their smiles for prizes by visiting one of five ‘smile booths’ constructed by creative technology agency wonderMakr.
Pro Display supplied transparent LCD screens and infrared multi-touch frames for the project, while the booths were also fitted with a camera, Wi-Fi connected PC, bespoke software and campaign branding.
Prizes on offer during the campaign included free Air Miles, VIP concert tickets and first class flights, while customers also had the option to put their ‘smile’ forward to feature on Air Miles digital signage billboards across Canada.
“It's about reinforcing to our collectors that Air Miles is an everyday brand that can pop up and make your everyday experiences a little bit better,” says Rachel Macqueen, vice-president of marketing for the Air Miles Reward Program.

“Over the first three days of the campaign the booths had more than 1,000 direct interactions and more than one million social impressions.”
Ben Kershaw, sales manager at Pro Display, adds: “It's fantastic to see the Smile Booths in action on their Canadian tour.
