WPAPS sets UK first with Colourbyte-Epson deal
Andover-based WPAPS has become the first company in the UK to purchase and install an Epson F9300 dye sublimation textile printer, thanks to a recent deal with Colourbyte.

The 64”, high-volume machine is a relative newcomer to the market, having only launched in October last year. It boasts a top speed of 108.6sq m/hr and is able to produce print in qualities of up to 720dpi x 1440dpi.
Tom Withers, chief executive of WPAPS, says the new Epson F9300 has already had a significant impact on production at the company, revealing that the firm has been able to begin offering customers a range of new fabric-based printed products.
“This purchase was to increase the capacity in our fabric department,” Withers says, adding: “Currently, we run an Epson P6000 and Epson F9200, and now the new F9300.
“Our soft goods department has grown considerably over the past year in volume and product range; our range now includes cushions, towels, wash bags, tote bags and blankets.

WPAPS has been working in partnership with Colourbyte for a number of years and the Epson F9300 represents the latest stage of this long-term relationship.
Colourbyte is an approved distributor of Epson print machinery, but is also able to a range of other large-format and RIP solutions, including kit from other key print manufacturers.
