Robin East from CMYUK, Shevy Kapoor and Graham Watts from SPD, and Sue Hayward from CMYUK, celebrate completing the Mimaki UJV55-320 deal
The Glasgow-based company bought the super wide-format printer from CMYUK, attracted, amongst other things, to the CSAF (consumable supported asset finance) reward scheme on offer.
SPD’s chief operations director, Shevy Kapoor, comments: “The CSAF rewards scheme on consumable spend was key to us buying the printer through CMYUK.
“Our spend on materials and ink is currently in the region of £800,000 per annum, so the projected rebates we will earn made CSAF an obvious choice when looking at return on investment. I would recommend both the new CSAF rewards initiative and the CMYUK service.”

On top of the reward scheme, SPD also benefited from a full second years of warranty, thanks to a special CMYUK show deal during Sign and Digital UK.
CMYUK’s senior digital sales xonsultant, Sue Hayward, explains how CSAF works for the customer: “SPD were looking at a similar printer from another manufacturer but the benefits of CSAF won them over to us. They quickly understood the financial gains of the scheme and saw how fast they could earn a return on their investment. Potentially, over the term of the finance contract, customers like SPD can save tens of thousands of pounds.
“Who wouldn’t want to save money while using top-quality media on the leading production equipment in the business? It’s the perfect win-win scenario.”
