Europoint was formed in 2015 after parent company Vink Holdings bought up Paperlinx VTS (formerly Robert Horne), following the administration of its parent company.

The VTS part of the business was widely reputed to be the last successful and profitable segment of Paperlinx. This view seems to have been proven by the strong early performance of Europoint under the guidance of experienced managing director Frank Moran.

We have found a highly reputable partner in Brett Martin, a well-established UK manufacturer that has been trading for over fifty years

“We have found a highly reputable partner in Brett Martin, a well-established UK manufacturer that has been trading for over fifty years. Starting immediately, the company’s comprehensive range of ‘A’ and ‘G’ product variants will be available through Europoint’s services,” says Moran.

Nick Hughes, sales manager at Brett Martin, also weighed in on the news: “With the continued growth of the signage market, this partnership represents an exciting new opportunity for both companies.

“We’re thrilled to have the commitment and support of a wide format substrate supplier such as Europoint. Thanks to this new deal, we now have full technical and sales support for our Marpet-g FS PETg and Marpet-a FS aPET sheets throughout the UK.”

Marpet-g FS is a transparent sheet available in a variety of thicknesses ranging from 0.8mm to 12mm. Brett Martin claims it needs no pre-drying and can go through heating and vacuum forming processes without the risk of whitening or cracking.

Meanwhile Marpet-a FS aPET is described as a ‘high optical grade amorphous polyester sheet ideal for flat and cold bending applications’.
