Gala Graphics branded 94 vans for business giant, Virgin Media
“Being able to secure large contracts with national giants such as Virgin Media is excellent for us. The key to securing contracts like this was our diversification,” says Gala Graphics’ director, Tom Madden.
He adds: “Initially the business offered vinyl and dye sublimation printing on marquees and gazebos, but as the business grew we were able to specialise in printing an extensive range of products from signage to leaflets.”
The company was contacted by Map UK, one of Virgin Media’s contractors, and managed to secure an impressive contract for the branding of 94 Virgin Media vans.

Gala Graphics is a subsidiary of marquee and gazebo distributor, Gala Tent, and was the result of Gala Tent expanding its in-house printing department to become an autonomous business.
Gala Tent’s managing director, Jason Mace, talks of further expansion for its graphics subsidiary: “We’ve previously expanded our existing premises in order to house Gala Graphics, this contract has meant growth exceeded all expectation and so we’re currently looking to move into larger premises, near our existing site in Rotherham.”
Mace further comments that it was ‘the right decision’ to launch Gala Tent’s printing department as an independent business as it has resulted in a ‘higher level of quality than our competitors at a lower price’. Gala Graphics hopes that the contract will be the first of many large contracts.
