Gordon Engraving joins SEC Group

SEC Operations, known as South East Coachworks, has announced that Gordon Engraving has joined the SEC Group.

Gordon Engraving and its staff will carry on trading as usual, but will introduce an apprenticeship scheme, creating three new apprenticeship positions.

The apprenticeships will be for each skill set: engraving, sign-writing, and plastic moulding and fabrication. SEC has a firm belief in apprenticeships and ensuring that the trades are passed on to younger generations.

The apprenticeships at Gordon Engraving will be put in place using the same structure at SEC where each apprenticeship is tailor made to suit the trade as well as the individual.

The apprenticeships will be built around the strengths of the individual, as well as teaching basics like health and safety, measuring, and manufacturing.
