‘The German masterpiece’ is revealed

Panel saw manufacturer Altendorf has unveiled its new F45, a fully customisable model that replaces the options ELMO III and ELMO IV.

The flexible machine, described by Altendorf supplier Daltons Wadkin as ‘the German masterpiece’, comes with overhead control as standard, with three unit options; ProDrive, EvoDrive, and ElmoDrive. ProDrive allows programmable repeat control over both the height and angle of the sawblade, and EvoDrive offers a seven inch touchscreen and numeric keyboard, as well as pre-installed application technology.

The third option, ElmoDrive, provides maximum control and combines the most advanced user features in a twelve inch colour touchscreen with graphic displays. It is the only control unit that is able to link up with optimisation software. The state-of-the-art model also provides the optional ability to tilt the saw unit up to 46 degrees for improved versatility and less maintenance.

The new design and flexibility of the F45 gives our customers the ability to equip the machine as they require, without compromise

Sales director of Daltons Wadkin, Andy Walsh, comments: “The new design and flexibility of the F45 gives our customers the ability to equip the machine as they require, without compromise. To give our customers total piece of mind, we recommend high quality equipment of this type be delivered using our own in-house specialist HiAb service including offloading and positioning within the workshop.

“Our support services team of Altendorf trained installation engineers assist with the delivery and stay on site to install, commission and train the operators on how to make the most out of their F45.”
