“This is a great example by Fusion Imaging using both scale and originality,” says Jo Bentley, head of PR at Contra Vision Supplies. She adds: “Designing a wrap of the huge glass elevator shaft in the centre of the shopping concourse ensured that the promotion would be seen from all sides and by more consumers.
The result was an impressive promotion for their client Ann Taylor with the very glamorous Kate Hudson taking centre stage”
“The result was an impressive promotion for their client Ann Taylor with the very glamorous Kate Hudson taking centre stage. This proves yet again that see-through graphics can be added to any store window or glass fronted element to provide a sensational branding or promotion piece.”
The promotion was designed for women’s clothing brand Ann Taylor and has reportedly been successful in driving footfall to the Ann Taylor concession in Bloomingdales. It was designed to be placed higher up so to be seen from a distance, as many in-store shopping promotions are placed at eye level which can become overwhelming.
The material was also chosen carefully and without price as a focus, to reportedly ‘ensure the best possible result’.
The see through properties of the graphic substrate are ideal for larger areas of glass as a solid material would have blocked out natural daylight, making the environment dark and claustrophobic.
It was also essential for shoppers inside the elevator that the substrate was wrapped around to be able to see out.
