Roland intensifies market outreach

Roland DG has ramped up its business outreach strategy, as the last few weeks has seen it found a range of new courses for its academy, hold a well-attended Better Business Experience Day, launch an attractive trade-in sales strategy, and hold its first worldwide service engineers competition.

Joe Wigzell, academy and creative centre manager at Roland DG UK, says: “We are proud to cater to all skill levels and support new and familiar clients by aiming to provide inspiration and versatility through our technology.”

Wigzell says the new training course additions have been designed following a, ‘growing need from the industry for small format flatbed UV technology and design software knowledge respectively’. The first thus focuses on the VersaUV LEF range of printers, while the second centres on design software CorelDraw Graphics Suite.

The academy is also tied into Roland’s Better Business Experience Day, which featured input from Corel UK, Vivid Laminating, Lightbar, Adventa, and Tecna UK, as well as wrapping guru James Deacon.

In addition to its focus on customer training and business growth, the manufacturer has also launched a seasonal sales deal that runs until November 30th. Customers can now trade in an eco-solvent or latex print/print and cut machine, between the sizes of 24 to 64”, for a variety of Roland DG’s new wide-format technology. Customers will also receive a cash payment for their old machines ranging from £3,000 to £5,000, depending on the new equipment invested in.
