As part of a project to welcome riders, Yorkshire Building Society opted to rebrand the signage on eleven of its branches that lined the route.
Butterfield Signs installed external signage at branches in Ripon, Skipton, Ilkley, Keighley, Holmfirth, Harrogate, Leeds, Sheffield, Huddersfield, Knaresborough and York in order to display with Yorkshire Building Society’s new logo in time for Le Tour.
It is very fitting that we—as a Yorkshire company formed in 1927—are marking the occasion with special commemorative signs for the 150-year-old Yorkshire Building Society at such an important event in the county’s illustrious history”
In addition, Butterfield Signs also created and installed a banner in Leeds’ Headrow showing Yorkshire Building Society’s support for the race.
Butterfield Signs’ Contract Manager, Kevin Killala, comments: “It is very fitting that we—as a Yorkshire company formed in 1927—are marking the occasion with special commemorative signs for the 150-year-old Yorkshire Building Society at such an important event in the county’s illustrious history.
Yorkshire Building Society was keen for the signage to be in place in time for the race
“We were really excited to be playing our part making sure Yorkshire Building Society branches were rebranded and up-to-date.”
Phil Kirtlan, head of property at Yorkshire Building Society, adds: “Following the launch of our new visual identity in June we made every effort to rebrand the branches on the route to maximise our opportunity of being seen on the world stage.”
