Chevron Warehouse brings toy engine to life

Chevron Warehouse, a division of Weedoo Signs, has donated a range of customised florescent graphics for a young boy’s fire engine

The family of seven year old Henry Balthazor, who has a disability, approached Chevron Warehouse after building a ride-on fire engine, wanting to make it look realistic for their son.

“This project for Henry’s fire engine is probably one of our smallest, yet one of our most satisfying. We were delighted to help,” says Stuart Barker, general manager of Weedoo Signs.

David Balthazor, Henry’s father wrote a letter of thanks, confirming: “Henry is absolutely delighted—we have no doubt that he will enjoy many happy hours with his fire engine. Every time he operates a switch or lever, he’s improving his brain-eye-hand coordination and fine motor skills.”

Weedoo Signs provide the florescent ‘battenberg’ markings for much larger emergency services’ vehicles, ensuring Henry’s will have as realistic a finish as possible.
