An antidote to Valentine’s Day cheese
As Valentine’s Day gets underway, major London Tube platforms have been decorated with humorous Tweets that are far from romantic.

In a bid to combat the often cringey nature of Valentine’s Day, Twitter has compiled a collection of funny and relatable tweets from the real-life experiences of its members.
One billboard features a Tweet which reads: “My husband said we have too much cheese in the fridge, so now I need to find a new husband”.

Flying Object and out-of-home (OOH) media firm, Talon, were behind the OOH displays which can be found at Oxford Street, Piccadilly Circus and Tottenham Court Road.

Posters have also been put up across Clapham Junction, Queens Town Road Battersea and St Pauls Road Islington.
Speaking to IPM, David Wilding, director of planning at Twitter UK comments: “The most hilarious, honest and real accounts of dating aren’t those found in magazines, romcoms or on the apps, but within the Dating Twitter conversation.

“People come to Twitter to talk about what they really think about love and dating – the good, bad, awkward. We want to honour the true reality around the modern world of dating on Valentine’s Day, by bringing the rawest and relatable Tweets to life at the Advice Bureau, even if it’s not very helpful.”
