Signbox provided the signage for Cancer Research UK’s new base
The project included branding signage, wayfinding signage and large-format impact walls, which Conran Design Group initially designed.
Signbox then carried out all technical aspects of developing the designs as well as the final production and installation.
For the wayfinding system, Conran drew up the initial artwork but requested Signbox to undertake the full development of the package.
Once the sign firm had allocated potential sign locations, the final solution incorporated Signbox’s modular sign system. The system features extruded interchangeable aluminium profiles and solid feature panels carrying static information.

To enhance this, Signbox included “aperture cutting” numeral panels and considered the onsite colour scheme with paint finishes.

In addition to the branding and wayfinding signage, Signbox also supplied Cancer Research UK with a series of projecting LED illuminated light boxes fabricated in acrylic. These were used to highlight a timeline of the advances made in cancer research over the past 100 years.
