The signage by Applelec and M4 UK is now visible across Bradford’s city centre
The firms installed a 15m long sign on the front of the building, an application that features 850mm fabricated high letters illuminated with a double line of high brightness SloanLED V series modules.
In addition, the interior of each built-up letter was painted in satin white to help aid light reflection.
Based across Bradford from the National Media Museum, it’s so rewarding to see the signage on the drive to work each day, especially now that the dark nights accentuate that dazzling white illumination”
“Based across Bradford from the National Media Museum, it’s so rewarding to see the signage on the drive to work each day, especially now that the dark nights accentuate that dazzling white illumination,” enthuses Applelec’s sales manager, Katie Waterhouse.
Applelec claims the SloanLED not only offer greater brightness, but also a greener option due to their five-year guarantee.
The sign also draws in just 450W in total.
The firms opted for an anchored stainless steel Hilti bolt to secure each letter firmly into position, whilst a cable tray was fitted inside the building to protect LED wiring and produce a secure finish.
